Pearson Edexcel International GCSE at BIAM
Internationally Recognised Qualifications for a Global Future
At British International Academy Marrakech (BIAM), students in Years 10 and 11 follow Pearson Edexcel International GCSE programmes as part of Key Stage 4.
International GCSEs are internationally recognised qualifications designed for students studying in an international context. They provide a strong academic foundation for progression to Sixth Form and Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level (IAL) programmes.
The International GCSE programme is normally studied over two academic years, in Years 10 and 11, for students aged approximately 14 to 16.
At BIAM, International GCSE subjects are taught by subject-specialist teachers. Students develop strong subject knowledge alongside critical thinking, academic independence, examination technique and the study skills required for successful progression to Sixth Form.
BIAM uses Pearson teaching and learning resources, including subject textbooks and teacher resources, to support the delivery of its Pearson Edexcel International GCSE programmes.
Our International GCSE programme forms part of a continuous British educational pathway, enabling students to progress from Key Stage 3 to International GCSE and subsequently to Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level studies.
